We are looking for a results-driven, relationship-focused sales professional with a passion for the automotive industry to join our ACCOUNT TEAM, to drive advertising and sponsorship revenue across POWER events likeMustang Week, our media brands and shows (such asDragzine, EngineLabs, Horsepower Wars, Street Muscle, and Street Muscle). A strong understanding of automotive performance is essential.
As Account Sales Executive you’ll be responsible for building and nurturing client relationships, driving advertising revenue, and expanding partnerships across our portfolio. In this role, you’ll identify client needs, craft tailored solutions, and collaborate closely with our editorial and marketing teams to deliver exceptional results. You’ll also play a key role in maintaining POWER’s reputation for excellence within the automotive community.
Responsibilities
Develop and manage client relationships within the performance sector.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, presenting strategic advertising solutions that meet client goals and drive revenue growth.
Collaborate with content teams to align campaigns with partner goals and maximize impact.
Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, client needs, and competitive dynamics to consistently deliver value to our clients.
Occasional travel is required.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
3+ years in sales, account management, or a related role
Proven ability to meet and exceed revenue targets and build lasting client relationships.
Strong communication skills with a talent for crafting tailored sales presentations.
Preferred Qualifications
Passion for automotive performance
Experience with digital media, social media marketing, and content-driven advertising.
Familiarity with the automotive aftermarket industry and relationships within the community.
Job Details:
This is a full-time position either based in Temecula, California, or flexible hybrid or remote opportunities for high-performing candidates.
We determine compensation by looking at market benchmarks and taking into account role, background, skills, and experience to place account managers within a fair market range, including base, commissions and bonuses depending on performance.
Compensation:
Base Salary Range: $60,000 – $80,000 annually
On-target earnings (OTE): $75,000 – $145,000+ annually, including uncapped commissions and performance bonuses.
Actual compensation will vary based on experience, skill level, and revenue performance.
