MyRacePass (MRP) is a motorsports startup focused on grassroots racing. We provide countless solutions to help Promoters, Drivers, Fans, and Businesses engage and succeed in motorsports. Between providing an online ticketing platform, to sending real time data to thousands of fans, MyRacePass has race night covered.

MyRacePass Engineering

We are a small team focused on solving our customer needs in a secure, scalable and reliable fashion. We deliver frequently on a maintainable cadence and strive for quality of code and quality of life. We have a wide variety of work to do. It is expected you are willing to pitch in wherever help is needed.

Role

We're searching for a junior engineer to join our product engineering team to maintain and build a feature rich platform for all of motorsports. You will take on a variety of tasks while pair programming in a full stack C# environment, to various other needs of the team which may include React applications, desktop C# applications, CI/CD and automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver testable code that focuses on maintainability and readability

• Embrace a pair programming environment to make yourself and the team stronger

• Really get to know the .NET ecosystem, from old school 4.x to brand new 9.0

• Reliable teammate willing to ask for help and help those who ask

• You can write SQL queries involving more than 3 tables

• Drive solutions to completion with the help of the team

Needed Skills

• Object Oriented language experience

• Relation database experience

• Front end framework experience, preferably Razor or React

• Comfortable with REST services

• Able to debug complex code

• Embrace modernization efforts and realize the growth potential from such work

• Familiar with agile development

• Willingness to learn and teach

Desirable Skills

• Some experience with AI tools

• Experience with CI/CD or other aspects of DevOps

• Mobile development for either Android or iOS
