QA1, a recognized leader in high-performance suspension components for motorsports and industrial markets, is expanding our team. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Product Manager to lead the growth and success of our newly acquired Proforged® product line. In this critical role, you will drive the strategic direction of the product portfolio, define new product requirements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to expand our customer base. You will play an integral part in supporting training, sales, and marketing efforts, while ensuring the maintenance of product quality and positioning. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing key performance indicators, including the product line’s P&L. ***This position will be based out of our Lakeville, Minnesota location but remote candidates will also be considered.
What You Will Do:
- Develop and implement product strategies that align with the Proforged brand vision, ensuring a clear roadmap for growth.
- Conduct competitive analysis to ensure Proforged products maintain a strong position in the market.
- Support the sales team by managing key accounts and contributing to marketing efforts to drive product adoption.
- Work with marketing team to develop strategy and plans for the brand and product line.
- Collaborate with Product Data Specialist to deliver best-in-class product data & content (ACES/PIES)
- Establish competitive pricing strategies while maintaining gross margin and quality through supplier relationships.
- Lead the creation of best-in-class product installation instructions and technical documentation.
- Address product-related issues raised by Customer Service ensuring issues are resolved promptly and effectively.
- Attend and represent Proforged at trade shows, company events and customer visits to engage with stakeholders and promote the product line.
- Perform other duties as beneficial to the success of QA1.
The Critical Skills and Experience You’ll Need:
- Associate’s degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years in product management or a technical product-related role.
- We encourage experienced candidates from automotive parts retailers, dealerships, or similar settings to apply.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate strategy into results.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and creative thinking skills.
- Ability to collaborate and build relationships across various teams and stakeholders.
- Proven leadership experience, especially in managing cross-functional teams.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present ideas clearly.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to quickly learn ERP systems (e.g., Syteline).
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team and align with QA1’s values.
