Heidts Suspension Systems is a premier manufacturer of specialty components for the automotive aftermarket in Lake Zurich IL, and we are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Specialist to join our sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving growth by calling into existing dealers, past dealers who are no longer buying, and identifying new business opportunities. The ideal candidate must possess strong sales skills, build relationships, and have the ability effectively communicate our product offerings and promotions.
Conduct direct sales activities to generate new leads and close deals. •
Engage in warm lead calling to reach prospective dealers and introduce our services. •
Maintain activity records including customer contacts and quotes in CRM. •
Stay up to date on Heidts new products and their features and benefits in the market. •
Upsell additional products and services based on client needs and preferences. •
Collaborate with sales and marketing team regarding promotions and customer programs. • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction and retention. •
Work with sales calling into their assigned territories.
Proven experience in inside sales or business development roles..
Familiarity with order entry and ERP systems.
Proficient in using CRM software for tracking activities.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and overcoming objections during the sales process.
Proficient in using Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
