You will be responsible for performing a wide variety of customer service and administrative tasks in support of the sales team. You will follow up with customers on a regular touch cycle to ensure they are satisfied with their services, address or relay any concern, and maintain information in our customer management systems.
You will also provide sales and marketing support in building a pipeline of leads through phone calls, social media, and emails.
This is a dynamic position requiring a combination of excellent organizational skills, the ability to multi-task as well as incorporating effective people skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Supports sales team members with completing customer paperwork and keeping customer information updated in.
Coordinates with shipping and finance departments to ensure orders are processed and invoiced correctly.
Communicate with sales, customers, and internal team members regarding status of orders or customer concerns.
Assists in determining commission amounts to sales representatives.
Updates and maintains customer information in CRM systems.
Assist in coordinating logistics for trade shows, sales meetings, and sales presentations.
Research, track, maintain and update leads.
Make outgoing calls to develop new business.
Contact prospects to qualify leads.
Direct email marketing to key customers and prospects.
Research and maintain lead generation database.
Conduct customer research and satisfaction surveys.
Conduct customer or market surveys to obtain information about potential leads.
Develop a strong knowledge of the company’s products and services to facilitate sales.
Provide accurate and timely information to management.
Performs other related responsibilities and duties as requested by management.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
High School Diploma or equivalent and previous experience (approximately 3-5 years) in an administrative position or the equivalent combination of education and experience is necessary. AA degree in a related business discipline and/or previous experience in a sales support position is preferred.
Ability to effectively assist customers in a timely manner and the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing to a variety of individuals, are necessary.
Demonstrate proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience with HubSpot or NetForum CRM is a bonus.
Demonstrate ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and projects, following up as needed to meet deadlines.
Communicate/work effectively with other teams and departments in a professional, diplomatic manner is necessary.
Excellent English communication (verbal and written)
Experience with cold calling
Possess strong project and time management skills, and ability to prioritize work and succeed under deadlines.
