CTEK has a global footprint offering charging solutions for consumers and OEM’s in respect to battery maintainers, professional workshops and integrated charging solutions based on DC to DC applications. As a next step, CTEK is becoming a charging solution provider for the upcoming EV vehicles entering into the market. Solutions can be off the shelve for end users, workshop or customized integration which include emergency vehicles and campers to name a few. With CTEK’s recent expansion into EV charging we are seeking opportunities to enter the OE market with these solutions/offerings.
As OE Account / Development Manager NA you are responsible for developing and managing sales with Automotive, Power Sport and Agricultural OE’s in the NA territory.
You will be focused on new business development at both existing and new customers. Responsibilities include face to face meetings with customers and prospects nationally. Develop working relationships including producing and delivering business proposals. Market research, lead generation, and reporting is required. Sales cycles in this business segment tend to be long so persistency is essential. In this role it will be key to see opportunities in the market and during customers visits to develop the solution together with our team headquartered in Sweden
Responsibility and authority
Responsible for sales and bookings as per budget plan (agreed in advance for territory / customer base)
Responsible for identifying and developing new customers
Management and development of existing customers
Identify opportunities and provide solutions
Reporting on activities, progress and plans – weekly summary
Monthly report for management
Working within the company’s CRM Salesforce and forecasting system TM1
Identify (new) customers and opportunities within Automotive, Power Sport and Agricultural OE’s for the Client Brand, PRO, Integrated Solutions and (PH)EV charging systems for existing and custom offerings
Develop and expand existing customers business
Identification and preparation of business cases
Meeting sales targets
Recording and maintaining client contact data
Supporting marketing by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
Conducting technical presentations and product demonstrations to meet customer needs
Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education
Additional work tasks within the team / company
Fluent in American English, any main European languages will be considered a plus
Technical background in automotive is a major advantage
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Proficient in CRM systems
Good listening skills. Ability to work with the customer and understand requirements to meet the needs and develop a solution with the customer
Extensive travel within NA. Valid passport. Some international travel is required.
